Sony really couldn’t have delivered a bigger middle finger to Nintendo in 1994 after plans to launch a combined CD addon for the Super Nintendo Failed. It came in the form of the PlayStation – a cd-based system that competed with the Sega Saturn and the Nintendo 64.
